Disgust

The marriage farce of Kim K (who is famous for NOTHING) only serves to show that marriage should be for people who are committed to a future together, not for those who want a media circus to earn money.  Oh, wait, this was a normal heterosexual marriage.  A gay/lesbian couple couldn't earn this kind of money for getting married. So they would have to get married because they wanted a long-term future together.  Like I did and continue to do with my husband of 26 years.

Halloween

Got ~100 kids, we're back into the lower end of the demographic again.  When we moved here in 1994, lots of the pre-k set some older and the elementary school set dominated after that.  now are on our 3rd iteration of the early elementary school. Neighborhoods age and evolve with the families who live there, and it you live there long enough, you will see it.

When I was a child, virtually no one moved from their original home unless there was some big catastrophe.  In my case, my folks cosigned a loan with relatives, and when the relatives said they would not pay their debt anymore, the bank came after my folks.  So, my folks sold the house with the lien, and started over.  The relatives never, never, bothered to try and square the debt.  People without Honor.  Be careful of them, because they do not care about their obligations to you or anyone else.  Toxic.

busy day (not), but did trim Inara's claws to prevent bloodshed during her nightly neck nuzzling (which also involves kneading) to protect skin even through the turtleneck.

Introduction

You know there are times when you want to express yourself, vent, or otherwise invite discussion (I know those are not the same desires, so when posting, one should be explicit) but the normal "friends" may not be the venue.

Not that I expect anyone to read this, but I introduce myself.  I am geo- and bio-centric.  I see our beautiful planet as expression of natural laws (which we poorly understand) and an example of what those laws can lead us to once initiated. And what a fabulous example our Earth is, unlike anything else we have yet found.  Which makes it all the more important that we find a way to keep those things that support us functioning.

I do not know what I will make of this, but it is an experiment in communication.  So let it be.
